Job Overview
Airport Services Manager
Department: Flight Operations Location: Islamabad Vacancies: 01 Job Responsibilities:- Implement and review operational strategies to ensure compliance with airport service procedures and standards.
- Drive ground handling performance across punctuality, check-in, and baggage services.
- Collaborate with handling agents, airport authorities, and service providers to resolve operational challenges.
- Maintain safety and security standards across all aspects of the operation.
- Lead and develop teams, ensuring a disciplined and motivated workforce.
- Manage administrative functions including reporting, performance evaluations, and complaint investigations.
- Continuously identify opportunities for improvement in airport operations.
- Oversee emergency planning and represent Emirates at official forums.
- Manage stakeholder relationships and ensure cost-effective operations through budgeting and strategic analysis.
- Ensure all KPIs, service level agreements, and on-time performance targets are consistently achieved.
- Education: Advanced level in passenger services, ground operations, baggage claims, reservations and ticketing, weight and balance
- Experience: Several years in airport passenger handling and operations, including minimum 5 years in a managerial capacity
- Knowledge: Strong knowledge of flight planning and relevant aspects of meteorology
- Systems: Proficiency in Reservations, Baggage Tracing, Word, Excel, and other operational systems
- Language: Fluency in English (written and spoken) essential
- Skills: Strong communication, ability to work under pressure, high level of initiative
