Ministry of Climate Change Pakistan Jobs 2026 – Apply Now. The Ministry of Climate Change & Environmental Coordination (MoCC&EC) is the leading federal ministry of the Government of Pakistan, responsible for environmental protection, climate change adaptation and mitigation, forestry, biodiversity conservation, and wildlife protection. Under the Upscaling of Green Pakistan Programme (UGPP) – a PSDP-funded project – the ministry is working to enhance forest cover, protect biodiversity, and promote sustainable environmental practices nationwide. For 2026, UGPP is hiring 35 professionals and support staff including GIS specialists, forest carbon experts, regional project directors, forest officers, wildlife officers, GIS analysts, admin and finance officers, drivers, security guards, and office staff. Positions are available in Islamabad, AJK, Balochistan, GB, KPK, Sindh, and Punjab. This is a contract-based opportunity (2 years, extendable) to contribute to Pakistan's environmental sustainability under the "Save Trees, Save Environment" initiative.

Job Overview
GIS Manager

Forest Carbon Specialist
Department: UGPP – Climate Change Location: Islamabad Vacancies: 01 PPS: 9 Job Responsibilities:- Lead forest carbon assessment and REDD+ project activities.
- Develop carbon stock estimation methodologies for forest ecosystems.
- Prepare project design documents for carbon finance and mitigation projects.
- Monitor and report greenhouse gas emissions from forestry sector.
- Coordinate with international partners on climate change mitigation.
- Ensure compliance with UNFCCC guidelines and carbon standards.
- Train project staff on forest carbon accounting and monitoring.
- Prepare technical reports and scientific publications.
- Education: Master's in Forestry, Environmental Science, Climate Change, Natural Resource Management (minimum 2nd division, HEC recognized)

Regional Project Director
Department: UGPP – Regional Offices Location: AJK, Balochistan, GB, KPK, Sindh, Punjab (07 positions) Vacancies: 07 PPS: 8 Job Responsibilities:- Lead regional implementation of Green Pakistan Programme activities.
- Coordinate with provincial forest and wildlife departments.
- Supervise project staff and monitor field activities.
- Prepare regional progress reports and financial statements.
- Ensure timely execution of forest plantation and biodiversity projects.
- Facilitate community engagement and stakeholder coordination.
- Monitor project outcomes and prepare impact assessment reports.

- Perform daily vehicle checks including fuel, oil, tires, and brakes.
- Maintain logbooks for trips and fuel consumption records.
